Role: Gives the readers the and idea of if I really had the perseverance to deal with teaching her how to drive, or if I needed to let someone else teach her. Also where I tell the readers about her checking her pimple in the mirror again, and it gave me the chance to see where she directed that from.

Focus: I finally get across to the readers that I did have the patience to do this and I got it accomplished. And it taught me an experience of life; that I can do things if I put my mind to it.
